Dementia Has a Face and a Name

Fáilte! Welcome!
I’m Aishling, the proud daughter of an incredible woman who lived with dementia. My journey with her changed my life and inspired me to do more for families and caregivers walking this path. After running my home care agency for over a decade, I opened my Certified Nursing Assistant school and, in 2018, began developing specialized dementia training to make a real difference in the caregiving experience.
This course was created with heart and purpose—to help caregivers truly understand dementia from the inside out. It’s designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools to succeed while easing the stress and guilt that caregiving so often brings.
This course is a tribute to my mother’s memory, a gift to all who care for others. My hope is that it leaves as deep an impact on you as her journey did on me.
You can do this. You will make it through. To succeed, you need the right knowledge and support—and that’s exactly what this course delivers. It’s an innovative, cutting-edge training that every family member and healthcare professional should take to elevate their skills in delivering exceptional dementia care.
For professionals, this course also provides 10 CEUs for RNs, LCSWs, and SWs, ensuring you’re gaining both practical skills and recognized credentials.
Let’s embark on this journey together—you’re not alone, and you’re already taking the first step toward making a lasting difference.

This is a testimonial about the dementia training me and my team at Oasis Hospice & Palliative Care received from Aishling Kelly, owner of Aishling Care Academy. We registered about 20 team members to the dementia training program. The training was an amazing experience, and the teaching style were great. The training also provided practical solutions for dealing with dementia. The simulation was the most exciting for me. It made me understand how patients with dementia feels. It also helped my staff learn how to treat and care for our patient that have dementia. This training also gave the team a chance to develop essential communication skills to build trust and confidence. I will recommend Aishling Care Academy for all your dementia training program.

I am going through your dementia course now. WOW Aishling…this looks FANTASTIC. Amazing imagery, good musical background and easy to follow. Very VERY impressive. Go, go, GO to get this stuff out there! I see what you mean by the fact that a family caregiver might really take to this as well. Truly excellent work. You should be proud! I can only imagine the amount of time put into this.
